The exam is scheduled to be held on November 05-08, 2020. The selection procedure for the recruitment of assistant professor consists of a written exam of 300 marks and a personal interview of 30 marks.

Steps:

Step-2 : Enter the Application Form Number
Step-3 : Enter the Password
Step-4 : Solve the simple mathematical problem for verification
Step-5 : Click on “Download Admit Card” button.

Exam Pattern

An online exam is conducted for the initial shortlisting of eligible applicants. The exam is conducted for a duration of 03 hours carrying a question paper consisting of two sections. Check out the exam pattern below.

Mode of Exam: The exam is held online mode.
Duration: 3 hours time
Number of questions: There are 50 questions in the “General Knowledge” section and 100 in the subject-specific section.
Type of Questions: All the questions in the exam will be of objective type only.
Marking Scheme: In the written exam, the candidates get 2 marks for every right answer. There is also a negative marking of the 1/3rd mark of the total marks of the question.

Selection Process

The board of Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission had announced they hire suitable candidates for the vacant posts of CGPSC Assistant Professor by conducting the written examination which includes General Knowledge & Current Affairs, History, Geography.

Written Exam:
The written exam will be in online form consisting of 300 marks. There will be 150 questions in the written exam. The wrong answers will give negative marks of 33% marks of the question. Candidates need to score marks more than 33% (23% in case of SC, ST and OBC category) to qualify the written exam.

Personal Interview:
The personal interview consists of 30 marks. The candidates are called for it in a ratio of thrice the total number of vacancies. Candidates clearing the personal interview are finally recruited as per the total number of vacancies.
