With reference to the vacancy notice for the post of Data Entry Operator in the Election set-up of Darjeeling District dated, 02.09.2015, he/she is hereby informed that he/she has been selected to appear in the written test, based on preliminary screening of the application and relevant submitted by him/her
He/she is further informed that he/she is admitted to the written examination provisionally based on the information as furnished by him / her in the application.
The detailed scrutiny of the eligibility of the candidate would be done only at the final stage of the recruitment process. As such, the candidature of the applicant shall remain provisional till detailed scrutiny is undertaken, and the candidate is found eligible in all respect.

About us :
The name ‘Darjeeling’ came from the Tibetan words, ‘dorje’ meaning thunderbolt (originally the scepter of Indra) and ‘ling’ a place or land, hence ‘the land of the thunderbolt’. A land-mark year in the History of Darjeeling was 1835, but it would be appropriate to trace its History before that. Prior to its acquisition by the East India Co. in 1835, Darjeeling formed a part of Sikkim and for a brief period of Nepal.
