The Scheme and Syllabus for recruitment to the posts of Tailor in the Office of the Governor’s (Household) Secretariat, Raj Bhavan, Government of West Bengal, to be recruited through CTT – 2016 shall be as the following:
A. Scheme of Recruitment:
(i) Candidates shall have to appear at an OFFLINE Examination of 100 Marks consists of 100 Questions of Multiple Choice Objective (MCQ) Type.
(ii) Each question will carry 01 Mark each.
(iii) There will be negative marking of 0.25 Marks for each wrong answer.
(iv) Duration of the OFFLINE examination will be 60 minutes.
(v) Successful candidates on the basis of OFFLINE Examination will be called for a Practical Oriented Examination on Tailoring of 100 Marks.
(vi) Duration of the Practical Oriented Examination on Tailoring will be 08 hours.
(vii) Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of Marks obtained in the OFFLINE Examination and Practical Oriented Examination on Tailoring.

B. Syllabus for OFFLINE Examination:
The syllabus for Written Examination shall be as detailed below:

The Syllabus given above is only indicative and not exhaustive.

C. Any change in Scheme and Syllabus made by the Commission will be published in Commission’s website in due course.
D. Date for OFFLINE Examination: The date of Examination, as fixed by the Commission, will be 14th September, 2016.
