Individual call letters have been despatched by Speed Post.

Individual intimation by way of SMS is also sent to the mobile number given by the candidates in their application.

Allotment of seats depends on the rank and availability of seats. In total there are 1000 seats in B.Sc. (Agriculture) (950 seats for academic stream and 50 seats for vocational stream) and 70 seats for B.Sc. (Horticulture) (66 seats for academic stream and 4 seats for vocational stream).

Candidates, even if they do not receive the Counselling call letter, they can attend the counselling as per the date and time and cut-off mark mentioned in the schedule.

It shall be the responsibility of the candidates who got revised marks in RV / RT [Re-Valuation / Re-Totalling] to attend the counselling as per their revised mark mentioned in the schedule.

Admission will be based on merit, following the Rule of Reservation.

Selection shall be made under seven categories namely OC, BC, BCM, MBC & DNC, SC, SCA and ST following the rule of reservation of the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Counselling processing fee Rs.2000/- (Rs. 500/- for SC/SCA/ST Candidates)(non refundable) has to be paid by the candidates, in the Counselling Venue to Register for Counselling by Cash or DD in favour of “The Registrar, Annamalai University” payable at Chennai.

Candidate should bring the originals and 2 sets of photocopies of the following Certificates / Documents while attending counselling.
1. 10th Mark sheet
2. HSC / Equivalent Mark sheet
3. Transfer Certificate
4. Permanent Community Certificate Card for ST, SC, SCA, MBC & DNC, BC and BCM
5. Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
6. Income Certificate (if applicable)
7. Recent Passport Size Photographs (3 Numbers)
8. First Graduate Certificate and First Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)

The Overall Rank and Community Rank are provisional subject to production/confirmation of relevant records including Community Certificate, Higher Secondary Mark Sheet, Nativity Certificate (if applicable) etc.

Issue of Counselling call letter or attending counselling does not guarantee Admission to Programmes. Admission depends on rank and availability of seats and fulfillment of eligibility criteria.

Candidates are advised to see the Prospectus for Fee structure and other details.

In the event of candidates being selected, the admission formalities including payment of fees shall be completed on or before 24.07.2015.

Candidates are informed to read the instructions given in the Counselling call letter and prospectus carefully.

Candidates are advised to be present in the Counselling session, one hour before the scheduled time, with their original certificates for verification.

University reserves the right to admission, subject to eligibility criteria and norms.

Candidates can download the Couselling call letter from 13.07.2015 onwards from the official website by entering their Registration number (ie. OMR/Application number given by the University) and Date of Birth.

Candidates shall only opt for the vacancies available at their turn.
