Test Admission Ticket(TAT) for Eligible Candidates of AE(Ele)/AE(Civil)/AAO and JE(Ele)Recruitment in GESCOM
INSTRUCTIONS :
CANDIDATES WITHOUT VALID TEST ADMISSION TICKET (TAT) WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE TEST
1. Download 2 pages of the TAT. Page 1 is the “Candidate Copy” and Page 2 is the “Office Copy”. Take printout of both these pages on A4 size paper only.
2. Paste your latest photograph on both copies in the space provided.
3. The TAT will NOT be sent through post.
4. Check that all the information on the TAT is accurate and clearly legible, especially your photograph.
5. Candidates should sign on their TAT in the presence of Invigilator and handover the office copy of the same.
6. The TAT is NOT transferable. Impersonation is a legally punishable offence.
7. The duration of the test is 2 hours (120 minutes).
8. Timings:
Morning Session Afternoon Session
Candidates to report to Test Centre between 8.30 am – 9.00 am 1.00 pm – 1.30 pm
Candidates will not be permitted inside Test Centre after 9.00 am 1.30 pm
Candidates to occupy their seats by 9.15 am 1.45 pm
Start of Online Test 10.00 am 2.30 pm
9. Smart phone, mobile phone, calculator, Bluetooth or any other electronic devices will NOT be allowed inside the test hall. The candidates are therefore advised not to bring these items to the test centre as GESCOM cannot take responsibility of safe custody of such items.
10. The “Candidate Copy” of TAT must be preserved and produced at the time of counselling/recruitment.
Do bring the following when you report to the test centre:
1. Test Admission Ticket (TAT) – Both Candidate Copy and Office Copy after affixing photographs.
2. Pen or pencil for rough work.
3. Any one of the Govt. photo identification: Passport/ Driving License/ EC Voter ID card/ IT PAN card/ Aadhaar Card
About the Test :
1. The test consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions ONLY.
2. Each question has 4 options with an option to select 1 answer only.
3. Correct answers carry 3 Marks each; Wrong answers carry negative 1 Mark each; and unanswered questions carry No Marks.
4. Total time allowed for the completion of the test is 2 hours.
On-Screen Test Instructions :
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING TO TAKE THE TEST
1. You may seek clarifications from the test administrator (TA) ONLY before the commencement of the test. No query shall be entertained once the test commences.
2. In case of system failures, power or network outage, inform the TA immediately. There will be NO loss in your test time in case of such an eventuality.
3. Click Option button to provide your choice of correct answer to the questions.
4. Click SAVE & NEXT button to save and proceed to the immediate next question.
5. Click SAVE & PREVIOUS button to save and return to the immediate previous question.
6. You may use the summary panel on the right side of your test screen to randomly access any question. Your selected answer option will be automatically saved.
7. Click CLEAR to remove your answer to a question.
8. Select FLAG Check box, to flag a question for review. Attempted, but flagged questions will be counted as answered for final marking.
9. On-screen test timer will display the time remaining for the test.
10. For some questions, you may need to scroll down to read the entire question.
11. You may freely move Forward and Backward throughout the test.
12. Click SUBMIT button to end the test. Note that the SUBMIT button will get Active only if you have viewed ALL questions.
13. Once the allotted time is over, the test will end automatically even if the SUBMIT button is NOT clicked.
