How to Download CTU Workshop Staff Admit Card?
Examination for various posts of Workshop Staff to be held on 24.8.2024 and 25.8.2024. To Download Admit Card for Recruitment of Workshop Staff
Steps :
Step-1 : Go to the link https://ctu24.chdadmnrectt.in/
Step-2 : Click on Login Link
Step-3 : Enter Login ID
Step-4 : Enter Password
Step-5 : Click on “Login” Button.
Syllabus of Workshop Staff
** Syllabus for written test of respective categories.
** There will be one paper having 2 parts of 2 hours duration carrying 100 multiple choice questions as under.
Part-I
i) Numerical ability 20 Questions
ii) English(upto 10th Standard) 10 Questions
iii) General Knowledge 10 Questions
iv) Elementary Computer Knowledge 10 Questions
Part-II
i) Respective trade/category knowledge 50 Questions
Centre of Examination:
The Written Examination shall be held at Chandigarh depending on the number of applications received. However, in case applications exceed the examination centre’s capacity, then it can also be held in Panchkula.
Selection Criteria of Workshop Staff
Selection Criteria for all Categories:
(a) All eligible candidates shall be called for a written test (objective type multiple choices). The written test consists of 100 Questions (01 mark each) Total =100 Marks
(b) There shall be no negative marking. However, the qualifying marks shall be 25% for SC candidates and for other categories 30% marks.
The question paper for each test shall be in Hindi, English & Punjabi languages.
Note : In case two or more candidates secure equal marks in written test/ merit, the candidates elder in age shall be considered for Selection.
THERE SHALL BE NO PERSONAL INTERVIEW. Waiting list shall also be maintained in each category/Sub-Category.
Note: Candidates are not permitted to bring and use a calculator in the Examination Hall for Written Examination.
Correspondence with the CTU:
The CTU shall not entertain any correspondence with the candidates about their candidature except in the following cases:
a. If a candidate is not able to download his e-Admit Card or does not receive any other communication regarding his candidature for the examination well before one working day of the commencement of the examination, he should at once contact the CTU.
** Information in this regard can be obtained over Helpdesk Email ID cturectt[AT]gmail.com. In case no communication is received in the CTU office from the candidate regarding non-receipt of his e-Admit Card well before the examination, he himself shall be solely responsible for non-receipt of his e-Admit Card.
** No candidate shall ordinarily be allowed to take the examination unless he holds an e-Admit Card for the examination. On downloading of e-Admit Card, the candidates should check it carefully for any discrepancies/errors, if any, should be brought to the notice of the CTU immediately.
b. The decision of the CTU as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the Examination shall be final.
c. Candidates should note that the name in the Admit Card in some cases may be abbreviated due to technical reasons.
d. Candidates must ensure that their Mobile No. & Email IDs given in their online application are valid and active.
e. All communication to the CTU should invariably contain the following particulars
a.1. Application Number
a.2. Roll Number (if received)
a.3. Name of candidate (in full and in block letters)
a.4. Complete postal address as given in the application
Communication not containing the above particulars may not be attended to.
f. Candidates should note down their Application Number for future reference.
