Computer Based Test :
CBT is the Computer Based Test. This is an objective type test for shortlisting the candidates for Interview.
There will be 150 questions under three parts i.e. concerned subject of qualifying degree for 80 marks, General Awareness for 40 marks and Aptitude Test (comprising of reading comprehension, verbal / non-verbal reasoning, numerical ability / quantitative aptitude / data interpretation) for 30 marks. The duration of the Test is 3 hours.
The question and options will be bilingual (Both English & Hindi)
No negative marking for wrong answers
Whether PWD candidates will be given extra time?
Yes. For PWD candidates, compensatory time as per govt. guidelines shall be given and the same will not be less than 20 minutes per hour of examination for persons who are making use of scribe/reader/lab assistant. All the candidates with disability not availing the facility of scribe may be allowed additional time of minimum of one hour of examination of 3 hours duration, which could further be increased on case-to-case basis.
What is the level of Test?
The domain subject will be at the level of Graduate / Post Graduate as applicable. General Awareness paper shall be of Civil Service standard. The level of Aptitude Test shall be at level of Combined Admission Test (CAT) of IIMs.
Whether SC / ST / PWD candidates will get reimbursement of their journey fare to the test center and back?
Yes. The eligible SC / ST / PWD candidates called for CBT will get reimbursement of Second class rail / bus fare by the shortest route on production of rail / bus ticket.
