Download JKSSB Admit Card for Patwari
Admit Cards to the candidates for Urdu Written Examination for the post of Patwari scheduled to be held on 31-03-2024. Admit Cards for the candidates shall be hosted on JKSSB’S official website w.e.f. 24.03.2024 (05:00 PM) onwards.

Stepwise procedure to download JKSSB E-Admit Card:
i. To download E-Admit Card, first visit the official website of JKSSB.
ii. On the homepage, there will be an option to download E-Admit Card.
iii. On that page, click on the link/button – “LOGIN”. (https://ssbjk.com/admitcard/)
iv. Enter log-in credentials, i.e., E-mail ID and Date of Birth.
v. Username will be your E-mail ID &Password will be your DOB in DDMMYYYY format
vi. On successful completion of above step, your basic details will be shown, kindly verify the details, in case of any mismatch, please contact helpdesk via call or email.
vii. Click on the ‘View and Print E-Admit Card’ button.
viii. The JKSSB E-Admit Card will appear on the screen. CANDIDATE MUST BRING THE PRINTED COPY OF E-ADMIT CARD ON THE DAY OF EXAMINATION.
ix. Download and Print your JKSSB E-admit card.

PART II : (50 marks)
Guidelines for checking working knowledge of Urdu :
** The exam intends to check the “ working knowledge of Urdu” of the candidates. The same will be tested through a Reading and a Writing test (total comprising of 50 marks in a duration of 60 Minutes), to be conducted on the same day.
** The candidates belonging to ‘OM’ Category will be required to score at least 40% marks(overall) in the said exam with at least 33% marks in both Reading and Writing sections to be considered as having ‘ working knowledge of Urdu’ for the purpose of this exam/qualified.
** The candidates belonging to other categories (except OM) are required to score at least 35% marks (overall) with at least 33% in each Section.
Reading Section :20 Marks
Candidates would be required to answer questions each carrying one mark each out of given passages.
Writing Section : 30 Marks
Letter writing of minimum 100 words on a particular situation. 10 marks
One English passage to be translated into Urdu or Vice Versa. 10 marks
One Essay of about 100 words on any topic of social relevance. 10 marks
Scheme of Examination for Patwari
Marks: 150
Time: 02:30 Hours
Note:
(i) Part “I” will comprise of Multiple Choice Objective Type Questions.
(ii) Part “II” (Urdu portion) will be of descriptive nature.
(iii) Both the parts viz Part “I” and part “II” will be compulsory
(iv) The candidates competing for Open Merit posts will be required to score at least 40% marks and candidates belonging to other categories (except OM) are required to score at least 35% marks with at least 33% in each part.
(v) There will be negative marking (0.25 per question per wrong answer) in Part ‘I”.
