The written test for the post of Senior Manager, Medical Officer, Operator-cum-Technician trainee and Attendant –cum-Technician trainee for SAIL, Salem Steel Plant against advertisement no. EN-1/2014 will be held as per the schedule given below:

The written test shall be held at Chennai. The admit cards for the written test for the eligible candidates will be available for download in SAIL’s website www.sail.co.in at the Careers tab from 07-04-2015. The test centre along with other details shall be available on the admit cards.
Procedure:
i) Enter Registration No.
ii) Enter Date of Birth
iii) Enter the text seen in the image box
iv) Click on Login Button
All correspondence with candidates shall be done through e-mail/ SMS only. All information regarding examination schedule/ admit card/ interview call letters etc. shall be provided through e-mail/ uploading on SAIL website. Responsibility of receiving, downloading and printing of admit card/ interview call latter / any other information shall be of the candidate. Salem Steel Plant will not be responsible for any loss of e-mail sent, due to invalid / wrong e-mail ID provided by the candidate or for delay / non receipt of information if a candidate fails to access his/her email / SAIL website in time. Candidates are not required to send any document to Salem Steel Plant at this stage. The candidates will be allowed to appear in the written test only if they possess the valid Photo Admit Card which will be available for downloading from SAIL website (date will be intimated later.)

Selection Procedure :
Senior Manager/Medical Officer posts:
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test, information for which will be provided in the Admit Card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview. Weightage for written test and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. (Selection will be subject to candidates being found medically fit by the Medical Officer of the Company as per prescribed rules of the company).
Operator cum Technician Trainee (OCTT) / Attendant cum Technician Trainee (ACTT) :
Eligible candidates will be required to appear for a Written Test, information for which will be provided in the Admit Card. Candidates shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the Written Test will be intimated to appear in Interview. Weightage for written test and Interview will be 80:20 respectively. (Selection will be subject to candidates being found medically fit by the Medical Officer of the Company as per prescribed rules of the company).
