Admission (Hall Ticket) for the Main Written Examination for the Posts included in Combined Civil Services Examination-II (Group II Services) (Interview Posts)

Read the instructions carefully :
1. The Forenoon examination will be Computer Based Test and Afternoon examination will be Descriptive type written examination.
2. The candidates should read the Commission’s Instructions to candidates appearing for objective type examination which is available in the Commission’s Website.viz. www.tnpsc.gov.in..
3. The candidate has to appear for the examination where he/she has been allotted. Change of centre or venue is not permitted.
4. Appearance for both the examinations in Forenoon and Afternoon are compulsory.
5. Candidates should be present in the Examination hall at 08.30 AM. Bring this Memorandum of Admission (Hall ticket) to the Examination hall and produce the same in the Registration counters for marking attendance along with thumb impression through biometric sensors. For Afternoon examination also, candidates have to produce this memo and sign in the attendance sheets before the Invigilators.
6. Only after proper Registration, candidates will be assigned with a system for appearing the Computer Based Test/Examination at the computer lab. Candidates have to be present in the seats allotted for the Afternoon Essay Descriptive type examination, half an hour before the commencement of Exam in the classrooms of the same venue.
7. Candidates should give their User ID and Password/Date of Birth to login the system (Sent to your mobile/email immediately after the submission of online application for this post). Necessary instructions will be displayed on the screen for CBT exam.
8. Candidates can visit www.tnpsc.gov.in. for Mock test to get used to the Computer Based Test.
9. On the day of examination, the candidates will be provided with a blank working sheet for rough work. They have to write their Register Number and Question Paper Version. Candidates can do the rough work in the rough working sheet only. After the examination, all the candidates have to handover the rough working sheets to the Chief Invigilators for onward transmission of the same to the Commission’s office.
10. For Afternoon examination candidates will be provided with question cum answer booklets. Candidates should use only pen (Fountain pen or Ball point pen) with only any one of the three coloured inks viz. Blue or Black or Blueblack for all the purposes including answering drawing, underlining, highlighting etc. in the answer booklet. Candidates should not use sketch pens, pencils or any other writing devices for any purpose. Candidates should not write their Register Number anywhere except in the place provided at the Top of the front page of the answer booklet. The answer booklet of the candidates who violate this Instruction will be invalidated.
11. Candidate is admitted to the examination provisionally based on the information furnished by him/her in the online application. If at any stage, the information by him/her is found to be incorrect and does not confirm to the provisions announced in the Commission’s Notification for this post, Instructions to the candidates, and other Rules this regard, his/her application will be rejected summarily without any notice. Mere admission to the examination will not confer any right on the candidature. His / Her candidature shall be provisional at all stages and the Commission has reserved the right to reject it at any stage as per the rules of the Commission.
12. Candidates are not allowed to bring Pager, Cellular Phone, Calculator and Watches and Ring with built in Calculator/Memory, Notes and Books, etc., or any other Electronic Device or Recording Device as separate piece or part of something used by the candidate to the Examination Hall. Commission has the right to frisk the candidates if necessary.
13. If the Photo of the Candidate is not found or not clear in the Hall Ticket, he/she should furnish a separate Photo affixed on a plain paper, by writing his/her Name, Address, Register Number duly signed by him/her and got attested by a Government Officer belonging to Group “A” or “B” who knows him/her personally and handover it, to the Chief Invigilator. Xerox copy of Memo of Admission should also be enclosed for reference. He/She should also give an undertaking to the Chief Invigilator that he/she is a genuine candidate and aware that he/she is liable for criminal/penal action by the Commission, if the information furnished by him/her is found to be incorrect on a future date.
14. The attention of the candidate is drawn to the instruction No.41 of Instructions to the candidates appearing for Objective type examination and he / she is informed that his / her representation, if any, regarding defects in questions should be sent to the Commission within 7 days from the date of examination.
15. After the examinations are over, further correspondence, if any, may be sent to the Controller of Examinations, TNPSC, Frazer Bridge Road, VOC Nagar, Park Town, Chennai-600 003, mentioning the name of the Recruitment and Register number etc.,
