Important Instructions :
** GU-RET 2016 will be conducted for all disciplines (except medicine) on Saturday, 4 June, 2016
** It will be conducted in three sessions:
Session I : 09:30 Hours to 10:10 Hours (40 Min)
Session II : 10:20 Hours to 12:40 Hours (2 Hour 20 Min) (For Group 1 subjects)
Session II : 14:10 Hours to 16:30 Hours (2 Hour 20 Min) (For Group 2 subjects)
** All applicants (irrespective of Group 1 or 2 subjects) MUST appear in Session I (from 09:30 Hours to 10:10 Hours). Failing to appear in this paper will result a disqualification in GU-RET 2016.
** Applicants who have chosen ONLY Group 1 subjects will appear in Session II (from 10:20 Hours to 12:40 Hours).
** Applicants who have chosen ONLY Group 2 subjects will appear in Session II (from 14:10 Hours to 16:30 Hours).
** Applicants who have chosen BOTH Group 1 and Group 2 subjects will appear in BOTH Session II (morning as well as afternoon)
** Separate question booklets and OMR sheets will be issued in all the three sessions.
** Session I will contain 20 MCQs to be answered in 40 Min (Section A).
** Section B of Session II in subjects from Arts and Humanities (except Economics and Law), Fine Arts, Commerce, and Management will have 30 OTQ (Objective Type Questions) with a provided space for answer for which the answer MUST be a very short sentence or a very few words.
** Section B of Session II in subjects from Science, Technology, Engineering will have 50 MCQs. Economics and Law will have 30 MCQs.
** Section C of Session II in ALL subjects will have questions which MUST be answered in writing in the space provided in the Question Booklet. In NO CASE, any extra sheet for answer or any rough work will be provided.
** You MUST hand over the Question Booklet (in all Sessions) and the OMR Sheet (if any) to the Invigilator at the end of the examination.
** Calculators in any form, Smart Watches or any such Smart Devices (viz. Android watch or wearables), Tables, Charts etc. will not be allowed inside the examination hall.
** Only applicants from Engineering Subjects (Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, and Electrical Engineering) applicants can use NON-PROGRAMMBLE CALCULATORS.
