Please report in the Office of the Commission at 9.30 A.M. of the above mentioned date. Failure to report in time on the date specified, your candidature shall be cancelled. The original copies of the following Certificates/Documents must be produced to the Commission’s Office on the day of the interview. Please note that the Commission reserves the right to cancel your candidature in the event of non-production of any one of the Certificates/Documents in original.
1. Original copies of all Academic Certificates along with corresponding Mark Sheets from HSLC or equivalent examination onwards issued by Boards/Councils/Universities etc.
2. HSLC Admit Card/Certificate in original as a proof of Age.
3. Caste Certificate (SC/ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC) in original issued by competent authority.
4. Up-to-date Identity Card/Disability Certificates in original in case of PWD candidates only issued by competent authority.
5. Any other Certificates/Documents that may be relevant for your candidature.
Canvassing in any form either to the Chairman or Members of the Commission in respect of your candidature shall be treated as a disqualification.
It should be noted that your application for the above mentioned post will remain under scrutiny of the Commission and as such your candidature is liable for rejection, if any wrong information furnished by you in your application is detected at any stage i.e. before or after the interview. The Commission may also take any action as may be deemed fit and proper.
The Assam Public Service Commission does not defray the traveling and other expenses of the candidates called for interview.

Notification: Block Development Officer under P&RD Deptt.
This is for information of all concerned candidates that the e-Admission Certificate with necessary instructions of the Screening Test for the recruitment to the post of Block Development Officers under P.&R.D. Deptt. to be held on 27-09-2015(Sunday) have been uploaded in the Commissions website apsc.nic.in.
Candidates shall have to download their own Admission Certificate from the above mentioned website. w.e.f. 18–09–2015 No printed copy of the Admission Certificate will be issued separately.
No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination unless he/she produces the e-Admission Certificate.
MOBILE PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE EXAMINATION HALL AND POSSESSION OF MOBILE ETC INSIDE THE HALL SHALL LEAD TO DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATURE.

About us :
The Assam Public Service Commission came into existence on Ist April, 1937 in accordance with the provision of the Govt. of India Act, 1935 with Mr James Hezelett, a retired ICS officer from London, as its first Chairman. Till framing a new regulation in 1951, five more officers mostly retired ICS officer, held the office of the Chairman for different period after Mr James Hezelett. On India becoming Republic, the regulations of the Commission were framed by the Governor of Assam in exercise of the powers conferred by Article 318 of the Constitution of India and the same came into force w.e.f. Ist September 1951. Also in the same year the Assam Public Service Commission (Limitation of Functions) Regulation was promulgated in exercise of the powers conferred by the provision of clause II of Article 320 of the Constitution.
