How to Download APSSB CSLE Admit Card?
This is for information to all the candidates appearing for the Combined Secondary Level Examination (CSLE) 2024, that the following points may kindly be noted:
1. Due to large number of applicants for CSLE 2024, the board has decided to include 1 (one) new centre i.e., going in addition to the already notified centres for the written examination scheduled on 10/11/2024. No change in exam centre and venue shall be entertained.
2. The admit cards will be available for download from the APSSB portal w.e.f. 25/10/2024 (11:00 AM) to 10/11/2024 (09:00 AM). Candidates may login to apssb.nic.in by using their credentials for further details.
3. Any issues / complaints relating to the admit cards should be reported latest by 04:00 PM of 31/10/2024. No representations will be entertained thereafter.
4. Candidates must preserve the admit card issued for written examination and will be required to produce it during Stage-II (PST/PET as applicable), Stage-III (Medical Fitness Test as applicable) of the examination process and Document Verification. No separate Admit Cards will be issued for Stage-II, Stage-III and Document Verification.
Syllabus of Combined Secondary Level Exam
Forest Guard (35/24) / Fireman (36/24) / Constable Civil Police/AAPBN/IRBNI (3724) / Lady Constable [Civil Police] (38/24) / Laboratory Attendant (39/24) / MTS (40/24):
(a) General Awareness – 50 marks (25 questions of 2 marks each)
** Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate’s General Awareness of the environment around him/her and its application to society.
** The questions will be designed to test knowledge of Current Events and of such matter of everyday observation as may be expected of an educated person.
** The test will also include questions relating to History, Polity, Constitution, Sports, Art & Culture, Geography, Economics, Everyday Science, Scientific Research, National/ International Organizations / Institutions, etc. State Specific questions may also be asked.
(b) General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability – 50 marks (25 questions of 2 marks each)
** The syllabus of General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability includes questions of both verbal and non-verbal types.
** Test may include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation relationship concepts, arithmetical reasoning verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, etc.
** The test will also include questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationship, arithmetical computation and other analytical functions.
(c) Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 50 marks (25 questions of 2 marks each)
The test of Arithmetical and Numerical Abilities will cover Number Systems including questions on Simplification, Decimals, Data Interpretation, Fractions, L.C.M, H.C.F, Ratio & hoportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Worth Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs.
(d) Test of English Language and Comprehension – 50 marks (25 questions of 2 marks each)
** Questions in this component will be designed to test the candidate’s understanding and knowledge of English Language and will be based on spot the error, fill in the blanks, synonyms, antonyms, spelling/ detecting misspelled words, idioms & phrases, one word substitution, improvement of sentences, active/ passive voice of verbs, conversion into direct/ indirect narration, shuffling of sentence parts, shuffling of sentences in a passage, close passage & comprehension passage.
Scheme of Examination for CSLE
** Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions
** Mark – 200 Marks
** Duration – 2 Hours
The test will comprise of the following subjects:
i. General Awareness – 50 Marks
ii. General Intelligence & Reasoning Ability – 50 Marks
iii. Arithmetical & Numerical Ability – 50 Marks
iv. Test of English Language and Comprehension – 50 Marks
Total: 200 Marks
